When I first started this journey I started it as a way to step back from everything and focus on my relationship with God and to prove to myself that cancer didn't beat me. I am a survivor in many ways but for so long I allowed fear to take over my ambitions of becoming an athlete. Secretly I feared my cancer would return and that somehow by overexerting myself I would relapse. I am no longer in that place in life, I finally found my strength. I allowed myself to focus on the present. During my transition I had so many questions. What was I doing now that fulfilled me? Where could I go to release the weight of the world? How could I renew myself? The more I worked out the more it felt right. I'm asking you all to help me complete my journey. Bodybuilding is my passion but is also an investment. After doing two competitions this year I realized that the cost of travel, my suit, registration and competition expenses can add up. I want to continue to compete for my Pro-Card which will allow me to compete as a Pro in the league. I then want to one day compete in the Olympia. For now however the goal is my Pro-Card. After speaking with the Judges from both shows I am ONLY a prep away from getting my pro-card. Right now I'm asking for your support in raising funds for my next competition towards my pro-card.
